Purpose

Week 2 learning materials include 2 important chapters, ch. 3 and 4. In chapter 3, you'll focus just on one short section, 3.2 "It's Critical". This section clear describes critical thinking and fallacies.

Then, you'll move onto reading chapter 4, which contains some very straight forward logic on taking notes and determining what notes to commit to memory.

Instructions

1. Read and take notes on: 

• Chapter 3, Thinking about Thought.pdf (Schmitz, 2012) (focus = section 3.2 "It's Critical", page 8 - 15)
• Chapter 4, Listening, Taking Notes, and Remembering.pdf (Schmitz, 2012)

2. Answer the focus questions in a quiz format.

3. Open chapter, open notes - feel free to have both chapters downloaded (opened) and your notes available to answer the focus questions in the quiz format.
