Chapter 5's focus section, Reading to Learn, identifies the parts of a textbook, strategies for active reading, how to capture key ideas in reading, and how to review what you've read.

1. Read and take notes on Chapter 5, Reading to Learn.pdf (Schmitz, 2012) Download Chapter 5, Reading to Learn.pdf (Schmitz, 2012) - Focus on section 5.2, "How do you Read to Learn?" (pg 6 -14).
2. Answer the focus questions in a quiz format.
3. Open chapter, open notes - feel free to have the chapter downloaded (opened) and your notes available to answer the focus questions in the quiz format.
