Purpose

Week 7 learning materials include chapter 9 which focuses on social interactions with a variety of people in the college environment, improving communication skills and the benefits of a diverse college campus for all students. 

Week 7 learning materials also include the Title IX (9) PowerPoint Presentation and Tea Consent video. Title IX is an essential component of expected student behavior at KCC.

1. Read and take notes on: 

• • Chapter 9, The Social World of College.pdf (Schmitz, 2012) (focus = section 9.1 and 9.2, page 1 - 32)
  • Title IX Powerpoint - Fall 2019.pptx
  • Tea Consent Video

2. Answer the focus questions in a quiz format.
3. Open chapter, open notes - feel free to have both chapters downloaded (opened) and your notes available to answer the focus questions in the quiz format.
