Design Considerations/Best Practices
Please consider the following when choosing to use grade schemes:
- Grade schemes are not just useful for students--they're necessary! Add a grade scheme to relevant areas in your content to keep students informed of what they can expect regarding grading standards.
- Grade schemes are a great fit for course homepages and syllabi.
Legacy Comparison
While the option to add grade schemes was available in the legacy version of the Design Tools sidebar, this version adds the following features:
- Ability to toggle score format (percentages or points)
- Ability to add grade scheme to any content, not just the Syllabus page
