Overview
Use this tool to:
- Preview page content as it would appear in different screen sizes
- Ensure content is optimized for students using the mobile app

Before launching the Preview Content tool
After selecting the kebab menu and choosing Preview Content, you have two options available that will adjust the view inside the Canvas Rich Content Editor (RCE), without launching the Preview Content window itself:
- 1. Remove DesignPLUS outlines and labels from the editor
- DesignPLUS adds borders and titles to help you identify various elements in the RCE. If you'd prefer to view content in a way that is closer to how your students will see it, and you are comfortable enough with the various elements of DesignPLUS that you don't need the labels, you may enable this feature to work live in that view.
- 2. Preview in dark mode
- This feature emulates how learners using dark mode will view the page and its elements
After launching the Preview Content tool
Once you have selected the Preview Content button, the following controls are available:
- 1. Refresh Contents
- Refresh contents in content preview window
- 2. Select Preview Size
- Change preview screen size
- 3. Manually Adjust Window Size
- With "Fill Window" selected as preview size, you may use the diagonal lines in the bottom right corner to adjust the screen size manually.
