Batches
Cidiscape User Guide Batches
Interface
Select Manage in the upper right. Then choose Batches from the left. You will be able to view any existing Batches, add new Batches, and modify existing Batches.
The following panels will describe how to navigate the interface of this page:
Search for a Batch
You can easily search for the exact Batch you need, by locating the Search bar in the upper left and inputting your search term.
View and Edit a Batch
Select a Batch name from the list to view the courses that comprise a Batch, add or remove courses, and edit the Batch's name or Team assignments.
Sort the Batches Table
You may select the title of the Name, Courses, or Team columns on the Batches page to switch to Ascending order sorting of that column. Choose it a second time to sort by Descending order, or select another column's title to change which column is being sorted.
Perform Actions to a Batch
Select the kebab menu within the Actions column, to perform the following actions:
- Manage Batch
- Edit Batch Details
- View in Courses Table
- Archive Batch
- Remove Batch

Create a new Batch
Each Batch can only be assigned to one Team, but you can create as many Batches as you would like.
To create a Batch:

Either of these options will take you to the page where you can view and edit the Batch.

Add Courses to a Batch
Once you've created a batch, you can add courses to track them:
- From the Batches page in the Manage area, select the Batch.
- Select the + Add Courses button.
- Choose from the Term and Account filters on the left.
- Select the Find Courses button.
- Choose the courses you wish to include (up to 1,000 at a time).
- Select the + Add Selected button.
While adding courses, you may sort the filtered results table by the following:
- Title
- Course ID
- Course Code
- SIS Course ID
- Published Status
Archive a Batch
Archiving a Batch will hide it from the default view on the Batches page.
Restore an Archived Batch
Cidiscape Institutional Admins may restore archived batches to to their unarchived status, if needed. To do so:

We know that different users at your institution need differing levels of access to your data. In this table, you will find the levels of permissions available to each user role type, on the Batches page in Cidiscape.
