About OneStop Services

Higher education is one of the most important and often biggest investments of your life, and it carries opportunities and benefits long after you've received your degree.  Rider’s Office of One Stop Services strives to help you and your family become familiar with and navigate the complexities of your student finances.  And, we make every effort to help you afford your education.  We have a variety of financing options available, including payment plans, loan programs, and grants & scholarships.

Applying for Aid

 

Students in a degree seeking program can apply for financial aid which typically include scholarships, grants, and student loans.

To receive an official award package, please complete a FAFSA:

  1. Create your FSAID Links to an external site..
  2. Complete your FAFSA online at FAFSA.ED.GOV Links to an external site..  Release results to Rider (Rider's school code is: 002628 ).
  3. Review your Student Aid Report (sent to you from FAFSA) to confirm information is correct and respond to any requests.
  4. If you are a New Jersey resident, complete your state application at njfams.hesaa.org Links to an external site..  Please allow 2-3 business days for processing.

Terms & Conditions
All students who receive financial aid are required to accept the Terms & Conditions of their award on their myRider portal.
Outstanding Requirements
Students who are awarded financial aid are required to complete “Outstanding Requirements” which may include verification documents and loan forms.
Stafford Loan Entrance/MPN
If you accept federals loans Links to an external site. offered in your financial aid package, you will need to complete Entrance Counseling and a subsidized / unsubsidized master promissory note at www.studentloans.gov Links to an external site.

Billing & Payment Information

Rider uses electronic billing (e-bill) as its official billing method. Students can view and make payments on the myRider portal Links to an external site.. Students will receive an email when a new statement is available. For further instructions, please visit Rider’s Bursar webpage Links to an external site..

Financial Agreement to Register
Students must accept their Financial Agreement to Register on the myRider portal to enroll at Rider University. For information, please visit the Rights and Responsibilities Links to an external site. link.
Authorized Users Access
To authorize parent and other payers, if applicable, access to your bill, please click ‘Authorized users’ in the My Profile Setup section.

Tuition & Fees

Monthly Payment Plans

Rider offers an interest-free monthly payment plan Links to an external site. to help you spread out your tuition balance. Once you finalize your payment plan enrollment, you and/or your Authorized User will immediately see the scheduled payments on your student account making it easier to manage your overall financial plan.

Credit Card Service Fee

You will be charged a credit card service fee Links to an external site. if you choose to pay your bill by credit card. As an alternative, students may choose "Electronic Check" as the payment method when making payments through myRider. Graduating?

If you've borrowed a federal student loan you are required to complete Exit Counseling. Visit www.studentloans.gov Links to an external site. and click on Exit Counseling.
