How to Fix It

Remove the password from course files before uploading them to Canvas. This allows accessibility checkers like UDOIT to scan the file and flag any issues. If password protection is required, perform a manual accessibility review of the file before sharing it with students. Confirm that the document is properly structured, tagged, and usable with assistive technologies.

If a password-protected file cannot be fully remediated, consider creating an accessible alternative to ensure all students can access educational content.
