Customize the Style Current Element Style Overview

The Customize the Style section contains design tools that you can use to customize the style attributes of your content.

The tools in this section have been designed so that multiple tools can be open at the same time. Each of these tools can also be pulled out of the tool panel as draggable windows.

  Interface And Tools

The following list provides a brief summary of each tool:

Image Size/Position/Style 

Adjusts the styling of an image including alternative text, alignment, size and border styles.
(This tool is only visible when an image is selected in the rich content editor.)

Link/Button

Adjusts the styling of a link including icons, visited indicator, icon and button style.  
(This tool is only visible when a link is selected in the rich content editor.)

Ordered/Unordered List

Adjusts the style of an existing list.

 (This tool is only visible when an ordered or unordered list is selected in the rich content editor.)

Table Header/Footer Style

Modifies the style of an existing table.

 (This tool is only visible when a table is selected in the rich content editor.)

Colors Intermediate

Changes the color of the background, text, and border.

Spacing Intermediate

Adjusts the margins or padding of the selected element.

Borders Intermediate

Adjusts the borders of the selected element.

HTML Attributes Advanced

Set the id, class and style attributes for the selected element.

Additional Actions Advanced

Includes a variety of actions that help cleanup and organize the selected content.

Block Alerts/Highlights Intermediate

Apply an alert class to the selected element.

Text Emphasis/Highlights Intermediate

Emphasis or highlight currently selected text in the rich content editor.

 Turning on Additional Tools

To turn on additional tools:

1. Click the Design Tools Settings icon    in the Jump Menu
2. Choose   Intermediate or   Advanced from the Select a Comfort Level area
3. Close the Design Tools Settings
